Switzerland: ZEW Survey – Expectations grows to 4.8 in July

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The Eurozone ZEW Survey – Expectations rose to 4.8 points in July, from 2.2 points in June, the Centre for European Economic Research reported on Wednesday. Market experts projected more improvement to 6 points.

UK: Claimant Count Change falls further in June

The number of unemployment people in the UK fell by 21.2K in the three months to June, following a 16.2K drop registered in the three months to May, National Statistics reported on Wednesday. Analysts expected less decrease of 8K. The Claimant Count Rate dropped slightly to 4.4%, following a 4.5% reading, against forecasts of remaining unchanged.

EMU: Construction Output slides by 0.3% in May

The Eurozone Construction Output declined by 0.3% in May, following a 1% increase in April, according to the report released today by the Eurostat.
