Analysts at Nomura offered their model projection for today's USD/CNY fix.

"Our model1 projects the fix to be 60 pips higher than the previous fix (6.6127 from 6.6067) and 62 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.6065. The basket implied change is 72 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.6137 from 6.6065)."
